Our Thoughts:
El Jefe is a cross between Rare Darkness #1 and Abusive OG. It is primarily an indica dominant strain with a THC content that falls between 22 and 25%. The buds are colorful with its orange hairs amidst dark shades of green. This batch of El Jefe has a nose that’s as dank as it gets, and you’ll be greeted with a heavy odour of diesel as soon as you bust open the bag. The nugs aren’t big, as you can visibly tell in the photo, but they are quite sticky to the touch. Nose translates pretty smoothly into taste, with a prominent earthy and skunky profile that stays in your mouth throughout the burn session. Effects are definitely physical leaning in nature, as expected with an indica heavy strain. The onset is pretty rapid, as you’ll start to notice your body being lulled into a state of bliss and relaxation.
