Our Thoughts:

Gary Payton is also known as “Cookies Gary Payton.” This is a perfectly balanced hybrid strain, consisting of an even indica to sativa ratio. This batch of Gary Payton has a mildly sweet and citrus undertone, with some users also reporting a spicy and savoury diesel flavour upon the exhale. This comes from the same grower as our Mint Chocolate Chip Smalls. While the two batches look similar, we found a pretty big contrast in taste. The MCC smalls had a sweet milky taste, whereas the Gary Payton has a more nutty and spicy taste. There is also a more pronounced tangy aroma that comes from the Gary Payton batch. We found the burn to be salt and pepper, and the overall aroma to be mild until the nugs get grinded up. The inhale is on the smoother side, though the spicy aftertaste can linger in your throat momentarily.
